Study direction description

A masseur technician is an increasingly sought-after specialist on the market. Everyone uses his services, from stressed corporate employees, through people in need of rehabilitation, to sports and television stars. During classes and practical workshops, our students learn how to professionally perform medical, sports, cosmetic and preventive massage. The masseur technician is indispensable both in hospitals and as masseurs of sports teams in Poland and other EU countries.

What will you learn?

You will acquire knowledge of the basics of psychology and sociology in health care.

You will gain the ability to provide first aid in health and life-threatening situations.

After getting acquainted with the theoretical basics of massage, anatomy with physiology, the outline of physiotherapy, clinical issues in massage, you will start practical classes, during which you will polish your target massage and physiotherapy skills.

You will also learn topographic anatomy.

The rare ability to communicate in sign language will make it easy for you to help deaf or non-speaking people as well.

In addition, the knowledge of specialist phrases and nomenclature in a foreign language used in health care will allow you to perform procedures also for foreign patients or to work in other EU countries.
