We invite students to work at an electrical goods warehouse in Wrocław (Lower Silesian Voivodeship). The employer is one of the world’s largest logistics operators, with over 38 years of experience and an excellent reputation.

Job Description

• unloading goods from vehicles and containers;
• receiving and dispatching goods, checking quantity and quality against documents;
• picking orders from a picking list;
• packing pallets and courier parcels (e.g. DPD), securing loads with stretch film, tape and strapping;
• loading and unloading by hand and with a hand pallet truck;
• repacking goods, replacing damaged packaging, labelling;
• using a warehouse scanner and warehouse systems, keeping records of boxes, taking part in stocktaking;
• using simple tools and packing equipment, and an electric pallet truck if you hold the relevant permit;
• keeping the warehouse tidy according to 5S rules, sorting waste;
• following health, safety and fire regulations.

Requirements

• readiness for heavy physical work: handling large and heavy goods;
• good manual skills;
• flexibility with the schedule, accuracy and conscientiousness;
• communicative Russian and/or Ukrainian;
• ability to work in a team;
• motivation to work.

Level of physical exertion (9/10)

Salary

Hourly rate: 36,40 zł/hour net (34,40 + 2 zł for working at least 200 hours per month), 6115–8736 zł/month.

Salary is paid in a single payment.

Work schedule

Work in a 2/3-shift system, 8 hours per shift:

• Shift I: 7:00–15:00 or 3:00–15:00
• Shift II: 15:00–23:00 or 15:00–3:00
• Shift III: 23:00–7:00

During peak season, mandatory overtime applies (an additional 4 hours per workday—i.e., 03:00–15:00 or 15:00–03:00—as well as night shifts and work on Saturdays and Sundays). Mandatory overtime and Saturday work occur 2–3 times a month; Sunday work occurs 1–2 times a month.

Accommodation

Comfortable, fully equipped accommodation provided (2–4 person rooms). Cost: 750 PLN/month plus utilities. A refundable deposit of PLN 200 is payable upon moving in and will be returned at the end of employment.

Well-developed public transport and infrastructure nearby. Free transport to work provided.
